This 6 days safari will give an opportunity to enjoy the primates; you start off with kibale forest where there is about 13 primates, birds’ species, butterflies, forest elephants. After that walk through kibale, you continue to the home of the giant gorillas in the Bwindi forest.

Your tour guide/drive will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to hotel or lodge of your choice to rest as you wait for your marvelous and memorable safari to all Uganda national parks for the adventure. It depends on your time of arrival

Day 2: Drive to Kibale National Park
Your guide will pick you up from your hotel, lodge in the morning after your breakfast. He will brief you how your safari is planned, and about the journey you are going for. You will then drive to Fort Portal district via mubende, fort portal and you continue to the forested park, the only with more than 13 primates. You will have your dinner and an overnight at either,

Day 3: Chimpanzee tracking
Kibale national park has the highest population of primates which are over 13 species, including chimpanzees,baboons andred colobus, black and white colobus monkeys, grey chicked mangbe, blue monkey, red tailed monkeys,. Forest elephants also exist within the forest.
Early in the morning after having your breakfast, you will report for briefingat the park headquarters around 8am. And after that you will start your walk through Kibale forest as you search for the chimpanzees and other primates with the help of a ranger. Though its not a guarantee that you will see them since they not so familiar with the human beings but always with high chances of getting a eye to eye contact with these giants. They are so interesting animals to see.
In the afternoon, you will have also a great time to go for a nature walk to Bigodi wetland which is the local community owned, here you will be able see a variety of bird species as you take a walk around the swamp, other primates includes, red colobus, black and white colobus monkeys, grey chicked mangbe, blue monkey, red tailed monkeys, baboons etc. back to the lodge for dinner and sleep over.

Day 4: Drive To Bwimdi
After your early breakfast, you will depart from Kibale Forest Park and you drive toBwindi in the south-western part of Uganda .passing through a memorable part of the country referred to as “the Switzerland of Africa”, Due to its physical appearance with hilly landscape, covered with cultivated terraces by the “bakiga people”, tropical rain forests and lakes (mostly craters) which is good for viewing. You will stop at a local restaurant on the way. After your lunch you will then continue with your journey, and you will reach late in the afternoon spending you night at the booked lodge

Day 5: Gorilla Tracking:
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest favors both mountain gorillas and some chimpanzees one of the only forest in Africa which posses these creatures. It also hosts five other species of primate, 100 mammals, around 78 butterflies and 360 bird species.
In the early morning after your breakfast, your driver will transfer you from your lodge with packed lunch to the starting point of your tracking group or UWA headquarters so that you can get a briefing at around (7.45am or 8.30am), then you will start the tracking. The gorillas that you track are very friendly to people, though still there are same groups which are shy, as human being there are those who are sharp and some are stubborn. Your experienced ranger will help you to spot out their presence. You will be going through the bush, pushing your way through the undergrowth, parting thick creepers, to track the gorillas. Once you have find the gorillas, you will be able to spend with them up to one hour which is given time, before going back to your lodge.
Note: (This trek can take from half an hour to 5 hours depending on the area you track and group– a reasonable degree of fitness is required as well as a sturdy pair of walking shoes). Have your Dinner and overnight at:

Day 6: Drive back to Kampala
In the early morning after your breakfast at the lodge depart from bwindi, you will be driven back to Kampala. On the way back to the Kampala, you will have lunch (exclusive) in Mbarara town, you will continue with the journey. After Masaka you will then get an opportunity to stop at the Equator enabling you to take some photos and buying souvenirs. You will continue on your journey back to Kampala, and you will be dropped to the airport to catch your flight back to your home country.

Accommodation & Transport – Mid-range
For this trip accommodation you will be staying in lodge which is built in African safari style tents, comfortably furnished with twin or double beds, a bedside table and a power outlet for charging your electrical equipment, with En-suit bathroom, hot running water and flushing toilets. No need to worry about linen as all bedding and towels are provided
