Enjoy your 6 days as you take a visit to the mountain gorillas in Bwindi impenetrable forest, You have a chance to see the tree climbing lions which is only found in Uganda as they try to escape away from the ground heat. Enjoy the savannah grasslands of Queen Elizabeth Park with the 4 big five, elephants, hippopotamus, buffalos, lions go for a boat cruise on kaziga channel.

Day 1: On arrival at the airport
Your tour guide/drive will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to hotel or lodge of your choice to rest as you wait for your marvelous and memorable safari to all Uganda national parks for the adventure. It depends on your time of arrival.

Day 2: Drive to Bwindi
Your driver will pick you up from the airport, lodge, and hotel or at your place of stay within Kampala. You will then drive to Bwindi in the south-western part of Uganda passing through a memorable part of the country referred to as “the Switzerland of Africa”, Due to its physical appearance with hilly landscape, covered with cultivated terraces by the “bakiga people”, tropical rain forests and lakes (mostly craters) which is good for viewing. You will stop at a local restaurant on the way. After your lunch you will then continue with your journey, and you will reach late in the afternoon spending you night at the booked lodge

Day 3: Gorilla Tracking:
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest favors both mountain gorillas and some chimpanzees one of the only forest in Africa which posses these creatures. It also hosts five other species of primate, 100 mammals, around 78 butterflies and 360 bird species.

In the early morning after your breakfast, your driver will transfer you from your lodge with packed lunch to the starting point of your tracking group or UWA headquarters so that you can get a briefing at around (7.45am or 8.30am), then you will start the tracking. The gorillas that you track are very friendly to people, though still there are same groups which are shy, as human being there are those who are sharp and some are stubborn.  Your experienced ranger will help you to spot out their presence. You will be going through the bush, pushing your way through the undergrowth, parting thick creepers, to track the gorillas. Once you have find the gorillas, you will be able to spend with them up to one hour which is given time, before going back to your lodge.

Note:  (This trek can take from half an hour to 5 hours depending on the area you track and group– a reasonable degree of fitness is required as well as a sturdy pair of walking shoes). Have your Dinner and overnight at:

Day 4: Drive to Queen Via ishasha
After a morning game drive, you depart for Queen Elizabeth national park via ishasha sector, on the arrival you will go for a game drive to have a view to the tree climbing lions. In the afternoon you will drive into the wilderness where you will enjoy your evening game drive to have a view to different animals, lions, Uganda kobs, topi and buffalos.

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth - Game drive & Boat cruise
After your breakfast, you will go for lion trcaking experience where you will et closer to the lions, later you will contunie with a morning game drive together with an experienced ranger you will search for all the wild animals in the park, including; elephants, lions, spotted hyenas, buffalo, waterbuck, leopard, Uganda kob, warthogs, lions and other animals .You will check in your lodge, relax and have lunch.

Afternoon you will enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel upon your arrival and have an opportunity to see different animals like hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffalos, water ducks and also other animals which come for drinking water or to bath on the lakes showers. There also lots of bird species which include the 11 types of king fisher, black bee- eater and several species of falcons, eagles and the raptors and many more. Your dinner will be at either;

Day 6: Drive Back to Kampala
In the morning after your breakfast, you will also go for early morning short game drive as you are on your journey back to Kampala. If you are want. You may stop at the equator where you will experience being in two hemispheres at the same time that is if you are interested, have lunch here. You will then continue with the journey arriving in the late afternoon in Kampala and be dropped to the airport to catch your flight.
Driving time: 6 to 7 hrs

This Tour is based on a Min-van with 4wd. it seats from up to the maximum of 8 persons. All our used vehicles are well maintained, customized with comfortable seats, a pop up roof which gives a wide viewing 360 angle!!

Accommodation & Transport - Budget;

For this trip accommodation you will be staying in lodge or Camps which are built in African safari style tents, These are furnished with comfortable beds, a bedside table and a power outlet for charging your electrical equipment. tents are placed under a grass thatched roof. The tents share a communal ablution block with showers and flushing toilets. No need to worry about linen as all bedding and towels are provided.

NOTE: For this the above mentioned accommodation it depends on availability and we make sure the best is our first priorities when we are making this booking. In case there is no availability during the requested dates of your safari, we do our best to look for another alternative accommodation which is relatively in the same standards or rate range.
